Role Overview:

As a Node.js/TypeScript Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building world-class backend systems and driving the development of scalable, reliable infrastructure that supports mission-critical financial services. You will work closely with product, design, and operations teams to deliver thoughtful, elegant, and impactful software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop new features across the stack with a strong bias toward customer impact and speed.
Build and improve scalable, reliable backend systems with a focus on performance and modularity.
Rapidly prototype and test new product ideas, AI capabilities, and customer-facing tools.
Set engineering best practices across architecture, code quality, and tooling.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Identify and deploy AI-native tools (e.g., LLMs, copilots, automation) that increase developer productivity and product impact.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
5+ years of experience with Node.js/Express.js.
Experience with modern AI-enhanced development tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot) and excitement about their future.
Passion for speed you move fast, build quickly, and love tough technical challenges.
Strong product mindset you think in terms of UX, not just endpoints.
Autonomous but collaborative you can self-direct but love working with smart people.

Bonus Points:

Experience working in fintech, credit, or payments infrastructure.
Exposure to ML/AI systems and data pipelines.
